Fire leads to ‘considerable damage’ to Orland Park fast food staple

ORLAND PARK, Ill. — An early morning fire led to “considerable damage” to an Orland Park restaurant, according to the Orland Fire Protection District.
The fire district responded to a fire at Don’s Hot Dogs, 7245 W. 151st St., around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, said Orland Fire Protection District spokesperson Ray Hanania.
No injuries were reported.
“Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire that broke through the roof,” Hanania said. “Crews began an aggressive attack and the fire was brought under control within an hour.”

Hanania said the fire district determined the fire began in the rear of the building but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
“The building sustained considerable damage,” Hanania said.
